The Hospitality and Tourism Association of Botswana (HATAB) and the Alliance Française de Gaborone (AFG) have formalised a collaborative framework aimed at strengthening Botswana’s tourism sector through language training, cultural exchange, and international industry partnerships.
With nearly 100 million French-speaking tourists travelling worldwide annually, this development represents a major step forward in positioning Botswana as a truly multilingual and globally welcoming destination.
