Maun Lodge is a well-established hotel with 140 rooms set on the banks of the Thamalakane River, just 4km from Maun Airport and 2.5km from the village centre. The lodge is the ideal base for both safari travellers and conference delegates. Five accommodation types are available: 88 Standard Rooms, 26 Executive Rooms (including 2 accessible), 2 Executive Suites, 10 Riverfront Rooms and 2 Presidential Suites with river views, plus 12 budget thatched chalets. All rooms are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, extensive DSTV satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities, safes, fridges and complimentary WiFi. Room service and laundry services are available. The iconic Boma Restaurant, Maun’s only boma-style dining experience, serves local dishes including oxtail and pap, Seswaa and Morogo under a thatched roof with regular live music. The Riverview Bar and a more formal restaurant provide alternative dining options. The lodge has the largest conference facilities in the Maun area, accommodating up to 500 delegates.
