Leroo La Tau, meaning ‘lion’s paw’, is situated on the western bank of the Boteti River, northwest of Khumaga Village. The eastern bank forms the boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The lodge features twelve luxurious thatched and glass-fronted suites with en-suite bathrooms, each raised on a wooden platform with sweeping views over the river and Namibian flood plains. The main lounge and dining area allow relaxation while listening to the sounds of the African bush. Guided day and night game drives are offered, along with boat activities (water levels permitting) and optional cultural excursions to Khumaga Village. Wildlife includes abundant lion, zebra and wildebeest, as well as Chobe bushbuck, leopard, cheetah, brown and spotted hyena, impala and kudu.
