Meaning ‘Place of the Giraffe,’ andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp is known for its luxurious and elegant tented accommodation with breathtaking views of the Okavango Delta. Situated within a 25,000-hectare private concession bordering Moremi Game Reserve, this classic water camp offers a picture-perfect island setting framed by a canopy of towering jackalberry trees, facing a permanent floodplain. Nine tented suites on raised wooden platforms each have a private veranda, hanging daybed, indoor and outdoor rainshowers, and sweeping Delta outlooks. The elevated central area of local timber, reed and thatch contains dining and sitting rooms, an extensive deck with pool and a safari shop. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, guided bush walks, mokoro excursions and motorboat trips (water levels permitting). The camp runs on 80% solar energy. Guests fly into the Nxabega airstrip from Maun, followed by a short game drive. Access is classified as Full Board.
