Leopard Plains is a luxury tented camp set within an 8,000 hectare private reserve, conveniently located 80 km outside Maun close to Makgadikgadi Pans and Nxai Pan National Park. Surrounded by open bushveld and abundant wildlife, the camp offers an authentic safari experience combined with comfortable accommodation and warm hospitality.
The ten spacious luxury tents blend naturally into their surroundings, each featuring an en-suite bathroom and private deck. A swimming pool, inviting bar and restaurant areas provide the perfect places to relax between safari activities.
Wildlife & Adventure
Morning and sundowner game drives offer opportunities to encounter giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala and other wildlife, while lion, leopard and African wild dog may also be seen from time to time. Guided bush walks provide a closer look at the smaller details of the ecosystem. Discover the magic of the African bush after dark on a guided night drive. Nocturnal wildlife such as owls, African wild cats, bat-eared foxes and, with some luck, caracal and leopard may be encountered.
Explore the Nearby National Parks
Guests can enjoy a half-day excursion to Baines’ Baobabs in Nxai Pan National Park, or a full-day excursion to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park or Nxai Pan National Park. Between May and October, thousands of zebras move through the region during one of Africa’s great wildlife migrations.
