HATAB is proud to announce the formalisation of a strategic partnership with BA ISAGO University following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) today. This collaboration is designed to significantly advance capacity development, professional standards, and skills readiness across Botswana’s hospitality and tourism sector.
Through this partnership, HATAB and BA ISAGO University will collaborate across several core pillars, including:

Welcoming the milestone, BA ISAGO Founder and Managing Director, Mr. Odirile B. Gabasiane, expressed enthusiasm that a vision nurtured since 2023 has finally come to fruition, noting that the University’s Centre for Professional Development and Consultancy (CPDC) is fully equipped to execute this vital mandate.
Speaking at the signing event, HATAB Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Lily Rakorong, emphasised that the partnership will create direct, high-value opportunities for students through structured internships, work-integrated learning, and other mutually beneficial initiatives aimed at fortifying the sector’s human capital.
Both organisations remain committed to identifying and pursuing additional areas of cooperation through ongoing consultation. This landmark agreement marks a major stride in HATAB’s ongoing mission to elevate industry standards through strategic educational partnerships.
