At andBeyond Savute Under Canvas, guests can explore the mysterious Savute landscape made famous by exceptional numbers of lion, which have become known for hunting elephant. It’s named after the enigmatic Savute Channel, which flows and dries up intermittently, seemingly unrelated to rainfall: it flowed in 2009, again in 2013 and no-one can say when it will flow again. The luxury mobile safari tents with ensuite bathrooms (with flush WC and steaming hot bucket showers) are positioned at secluded sites in Savute, a remote and wild corner of Chobe National Park.
