Crocodile Pools River Safaris, a 100% citizen company, is the only boat cruise safari opportunity in Southern Botswana, only a 15 minute drive from the capital city, Gaborone. Our solar powered boats tour a majestic 4km stretch of the Notwane River and provide you with a unique wildlife photographic experience. Cruises are 2 hours long. Enjoy a meal and drink at our riverside restaurant or have food platters on board. You can see about 40% of Botswana’s total bird species, kudu, bush buck, reed buck, impala, waterbuck, scrub hare, porcupine, slender and dwarf mongoose, monkeys, baboons and ground squirrels. The area has the four largest reptiles in Botswana, namely, the Nile crocodile, water monitor lizard, rock monitor lizard and the Southern African python.
