Chitabe Camp is situated in a private concession area on an island in the south-east of the Okavango Delta. Playing host to a breathtaking mosaic of wooded, wetland and grassland habitats, the area is famed for its incredible numbers and diversity of wildlife, in particular predators.

The camp’s eight spacious Meru-style tents are raised on wooden decks under large, shady trees. Each tent has twin beds, en-suite facilities and indoor and outdoor showers. The thatched dining area, bar and lounge are built on raised decks to provide superb views across the floodplain, and a pool allows you to cool off in the heat of the day.

Chitabe Lediba, in the Chitabe Concession, neighbours the Moremi Game Reserve in the south-eastern part of the Okavango Delta. Its wide range of habitats makes for an equal diversity of wildlife sightings.

Chitabe Lediba is smaller than its sister camp, Chitabe, and is ideal for small groups or families. Views over the floodplains give ample opportunities to watch the daily animal traffic. Beyond the camp, Okavango and Kalahari landscapes meet to form rich habitats.

Both family units have adjoining bedrooms and a shared en-suite bathroom. All five spacious Meru-style tents are built on raised decks, from which outdoor showers offer panoramic views of the Delta. The dining area, lounge and pool have a glorious vantage over the small lediba (a lagoon within a channel) after which the camp is named and where wild animals and birds frequent.
